
As a Regional Director of Sales for Ameritas Retirement Plans, Scott is responsible for the mid-Atlantic territory that extends from Maryland to Georgia.
Scott has almost 20 years of experience in retirement plans, starting with Crestar Financial (now SunTrust Bank). His experience in the wholesale market led to positions with One America AUL and Symetra Financial supporting a variety of brokerage and agency channels.
Scott holds Series 7, Series 24, and Series 65 licenses.

Having worked in the financial services industry since 1994, Jay Jones has experience in just about every aspect of building a financial advisory practice, including operations, portfolio management, marketing, business development, event planning, client services and client meetings. Previously Jay managed the Fibers Division of Hercules, Inc. specializing in sales and marketing. Most recently Jay has acted as a marketing consultant to Howard Capital Management Inc. Jay's focus is on helping advisors grow their practices utilizing the HCM 401(k) Optimizer®. HCM specializes in research, development, and implementation of various types of trading systems. The HCM 401(k) Optimizer® is designed to provide individuals with professional advice for their 401(k)s. Jay is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration.

Mike brings 25 years of industry experience with a wide and varied background to his role at Guardian. With a unique ability to simplify complex ideas and present them in a clear and compelling manner, Mike has built working relationships that go far beyond providing financial products. Mike's mission is to offer proven retirement solutions for a wide range of qualified plans including 401(k), profit sharing and defined benefit plans that are designed especially for the needs of business owners and their employees. He also specializes in helping financial advisors find opportunities to grow their practice.
Mike attended Davidson College and received a BA in Economics. He received his MBA from University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He is Series 7 & 66 licensed.
Mike and his wife reside in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Chris Barlow is a retirement plan specialist for Russell Investments' U.S. private client services (PCS) business. A member of the defined contribution team, Chris is responsible for driving the sales and service of Russell's DCIO business in the Southeast Division. Chris's duties include coordinating with the sales and service teams to deliver Russell's industry leading insights, intelligently designed DC solutions, and effective practice management concepts. Chris works closely with Russell's platform partners in the southeast to deliver our solutions and services.
Chris has 11 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Ken serves as Director of New Plan Design for Kravitz. He speaks on retirement plan issues to CEO groups, trade organizations, CPA and financial planning societies.
He designs plans for professional firms and businesses of all sizes to help them accelerate their retirement savings by adding a Cash Balance plan or simply maximizing their 401(k) Profit Sharing plans.
Ken helped create and launch the Kravitz Cash Balance Coach® program in 2009. He has taught close to 400 financial advisors and retirement professionals how to grow their businesses by marketing and selling Cash Balance Plans.
Ken brings a broad range of business experience to Kravitz. He earned his MBA from Pepperdine University in 1995 and worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 10 years. In addition, Ken has served in Christian ministry for 15 years, five of them as a senior pastor.

David Witz is Managing Director and founder of Fiduciary Risk Assessment LLC(FRA) and PlanTools, LLC. FRA/PlanTools is a service provider to the retirement industry designing and licensing fiduciary compliance and investment reporting software solutions for industry service providers..
David's responsibilities include consulting engagements, expert witness services, business development, product design, project management of FRA's software development, and collaboration with legal counsel to secure a legal opinion on FRA's proprietary 404c Master Diagnostic&tm system. FRA is the only firm in the industry to secure a legal opinion stating its 404(c) diagnostic system meets all the regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
David has over 29 years of investment, plan design, administration, and fiduciary consulting experience with Qualified and Non-qualified Deferred Compensation plans. He began his career with Principal Financial Group in 1981. In June 1987, he acquired Corporate Benefit Planning ("CBP") a third party administration, consulting, and investment advisory firm which he sold in 1996. Since then, David has held positions with four other national Third Party Administrative firms before forming FRA including BGS&G, CBIZ, the Geller Group, and The Newport Group. David has been published or quoted by the ASPPA Journal, BNA, Journal of Benefits and Compensation, the CPA Journal, and Columbus CEO. He has been retained as an expert witness on ERISA matters and participated on advisory boards for Principal Financial, Mass Mutual, CBIZ, Asset International, Inc. and The Center for Due Diligence (CFDD). He has been a guest speaker for the AICPA, ASPPA, Bar Association, CFDD, fi360, Financial Planning, The Ohio State University School of Law, ISCEBS, National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, North Carolina CPA/Law Forum, PLANSPONSOR, and RADA. Recently he was appointed to the Board of Advisors for the Institute of Business & Finance (IBF). He was previously the host of a financial talk radio show on WWVA.
David is a 1981 graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, Insurance, and Real Estate. He has been awarded the ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY® designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies. He also has six exams completed towards his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Charter Life Underwriter (CLU) designations. Licensing has included NASD Series 6, 26, 63, 65 and Life, Health and Variable Insurance.
